Mission

We aim to provide a gentle introduction to web development for students of all levels. By the end of the semester, students will be equipped to join a formal CS class with confidence, learn more on their own, or simply use the skills they’ve gained so far. Eventually, we aim to publish our curriculum to enable others to teach the course with less overhead.

Structure

In Spring 2020, this group is being led at Mount Holyoke by Eleanor Harris. After a brief crash course in Python for people without coding experience, we will focus on introductory web development. There are two sections, and people can attend one or both. Each meeting will include (1) interactive lecture and (2) application of the concepts through coding activities.
